Suffolk, Virginia- April 10, 2018- Suffolk Humane Society will partner with Suffolk Animal Care Center and sponsor several “Celebrate Spring” adopt-a-thons at Chesapeake Square PetSmart, 4300 Portsmouth Blvd, Chesapeake, VA 23321 on Saturday April 14, May 19th and June 23rd, and the North Suffolk PetSmart 6243 College Drive, Suffolk, VA 23435 on Sunday April 15, May 20 and June 24th. All events are from 12 noon to 3 pm.

“We invite everyone to come out and see the wonderful pets for adoption. It’s time to start enjoying beautiful spring days with a new best friend,” said Lee Murphy, adoptions and foster director for Suffolk Humane.

“We have lots of loving dogs and cats available and they are just waiting for a new forever home” added Lori Brittle, shelter manager for Suffolk Animal Care Center. “We hope people will come by to see them and give them a little love and attention. Of course, we hope that some will decide to add a new pet to their family.“
