Adoption Application

Please understand that the Suffolk Humane Society is completely staffed by volunteers. Once the application is received you will receive notification within 72 hours to schedule a home visit, if approved. Suffolk Humane Society reserves the right to decide the placement of our animals. The adoption fee includes spay/neuter/flea treatment and all age-appropriate vaccinations. Additionally, dogs are tested for heartworms and are on heartworm preventative. We do not keep applications on file. Each adoption requires a new application.

Adoption Fees

Cats: $95.00 (fully vetted) plus $3.24 processing fee
Senior cats: $65.00 (fully vetted) plus $3.24 processing fee
Puppy under 1 years old: $250.00 plus $5.62 processing fee
Dogs between 1 years old to 7 years old: $200.00 plus $4.47 processing fee
Senior dogs: $100.00 plus $2.54 processing fee
