A New Partnership for Our Furry Friends
Meals on Wheels of Suffolk and Isle of Wight has partnered with the Suffolk Humane Society to bring comfort and care not just to local seniors, but also to their beloved animal companions. Launched in March, this heartwarming initiative delivers thoughtfully curated pet care packages directly to the homes of Meals on Wheels recipients across Suffolk and Isle of Wight.
Bringing Relief and Joy
Each package contains essential pet supplies designed to ease the financial and physical challenges of pet ownership for our clients. From pet food and treats to basic care items, these deliveries make a meaningful difference in the lives of recipients—both human and animal.
Thanks to generous community support, we’ve successfully completed two rounds of deliveries. While our goal is to increase the frequency to bi-weekly, current donation levels allow for monthly distribution.
