It is through your generosity, and that of our donors that help us to accomplish our mission to promote the human-animal bond and reduce pet overpopulation in Suffolk through advocacy for companion animals, humane education, adoption and foster programs and affordable Spay/Neuter programs. By becoming a Suffolk Humane Society member, you are directly responsible for helping us to save animals lives. Your membership donation enables our organization to provide medical care and a loving environment to many homeless puppies, kittens, dogs and cats until they find their forever homes. 

The Suffolk Humane Society has been an important part of Suffolk’s community and provides valuable services to Suffolk residents through our pet pantries, BARKS (Books and Reading for Kids in Suffolk), and humane education programs provided to local schools and organizations. 

In 2019, we helped find forever homes for over 600 animals in our community and provided over $50,000 in medical services for animals enrolled in our programs. Your membership also supports our community outreach program which offers up to $200 in assistance for Suffolk residents whose pets require immediate medical care.
